Writer's Note:

There are many tales that revolve around this medieval character. Some say she is the  Lady of the Lake known otherwise as  Nimue, Nineve, Nymve, Nyneve, Vivian or Vivien. As for this group she is not. A separate entity but still surrounded by the Arthurian Legends and Myths of old. A revision if you will as the story below is a mix of what she really could of possibly been.

Character Biography:

Nimue and Merlin fall in love at an early age when Merlin saves Nimue's life. They grow up apart, but never forget one another. After several years, Vortigern captures Merlin, and Nimue finds him in a cell. Nimue talks Vortigern into setting Merlin free and she and the wizard go away togther and he begins teaching her magic.

Some time later Mab, the embodiment of black magic and paganism, goes to Vortigern and pulls a few strings so that Nimue's father withdraws his loyalty to him. Vortigern's men then capture Nimue to hold for ransom. Mab takes Nimue and challenges Merlin to use his magic to save his lover from a dragon. Merlin uses his magic just in time to save Nimue's life in which she is also freed from Mab.

Nimue travels with Merlin, ever faithful to him. She is his lover and apprentice. Together they travel when he allows as in some things he feels she is not yet ready to learn. When he is away, Mab comes to her, tries to convince Nimue to her side. Of magic Nimue knows not of does Mab tempt her with....
