A RP group for a time before King Arthur
History is just that, history! Made from the handing down of stories and legends, but along the way, like all good tales, it can get diluted, twisted and used to further the writer’s career. Now whilst some of the history we know can be verified, a lot cannot. It is then up to the individual as to what they believe.
Long before Arthur, Guinevere and Camelot, the land of Britain was a turbulent one. Following the collapse of the Roman Empire.
Towards the end of the fourth century the
Britons, many of which regarded themselves as Romans, were unhappy with their emperor,
Honorous, so they looked for an Emperor/King who would be more suited to unite
the land and defend it against the oncoming invaders. Aldroen, King of Lesser Britain, (Brittany),
was invited to take up the throne but declined, aware of the chaotic state of
the country so it fell to his brother Constantine.
